I love biking at night, pedaling as fast as I can… listening to the thwip-thwip of the wheels and feeling the wind rush through my hair…
Nyahhhh! It’s so good to be alive! :]

Amen to that!
The leaves are falling, falling as if from far up,
as if orchards were dying high in space.
Each leaf falls as if it were motioning “no.”And tonight the heavy earth is falling
away from all other stars in the loneliness. We’re all falling. This hand here is falling.
And look at the other one. It’s in them all.And yet there is Someone, whose hands
infinitely calm, holding up all this falling.- Rainer Maria Rilke, Autumn
Sometimes, there’s nothing I’d wish for more in this world
Than to be left alone in each other’s company—
my dearest Book and I, o yes—
What a Time that would be…
A never-ceasing crinklefest of pages turned with bated breath,
An eternal feast of scrumptious word morsels I could munch on without rest;
Lines of tears and of laughter making my soul fizz and bubble,
Long hours of brilliant scenes that dim my Other-Life troubles…
But alas—
I’m dragged along so briskly by this World (gar! my enemy!)
That this heartfelt wish is reduced to only short-lived dreams.
Oh…(here lies the weight of many wistful sighs)…
What grand ol’ Times we’re missing out on, Book and I.
